Welcome to RGA Vale Road Rhyl, the newest BJJ Academy in North Wales. We are proud to be open and providing classes to the local Community and are taking on new students with a free weeks trial. Our 2000sq ft facility is the perfect mat space to start your BJJ training. We provide Gi and No-Gi classes for Adults and for Kids aged 5yrs and up. Steve Jones the Head Coach is a 2nd Degree Black Belt under the famous BJJ practitioner Roger Gracie.

BJJ Beginners Course 29th Oct.

We are running a beginner's course for anyone that is brand new to BJJ and would like to get a taste of what it is all about, This course is for everyone age 15yrs and up. Everyone is welcome to attend and it will run for 5 weeks. You will get to train twice a week. On a Wednesday evening 6pm  and a Saturday at 11am. Uniforms will be provided for the training.

It it's something you'd like to try and it would be great to have you along to train. The course costs £70 for the 5 weeks and you'll learn a lot during the sessions.

Open Day Sat 25th October.

We are holding an Open Day and holding a Free Class for everyone who attends. You can train or come and tour the Academy  to get a feel of what Roger Gracie Academy Vale Road Rhyl is all about. 

10am Kids Class - 11am Adults Class.

We will provide you with a uniform if you are new to BJJ and would like to train. It will be a great intro session for all Kids and Adults who attend. You will get to meet the Instructors and some of the Students who are currently training. After you'll be welcome to book a free trial week for whenever suits.

RGA Vale Road Fundamentals Programme.

We follow a specifically designed Fundamentals Programme that progresses our students through the BJJ positions and Techniques. The Programme is taught on a rotation so you can join in at any time. It's a perfect way for a Beginner or experienced BJJ Student to home in on their skills and become proficient.

You do not need to be fit to start training, we will get you fit along the way and as you develop skills your body will adjust to it's newfound fitness level. You will be rewarded and Graded for your learning with us. We take notice of each and every student who trains. We hold main Gradings twice a year for our Students and they are included in the Membership.

Our Kids Academy is Thriving!!!!

Parents now is the time to get your Kids started in Jiu Jitsu. The sport itself is forever growing and the training will be the highlight of their day. We have a fantastic Family Membership which will allow you all to train. We currently hold 7 classes a week which will give you great choice on when to bring them, and a weeks free trial is available to all students. Uniforms are provided for the trial. We are looking forward to getting your Kids started.

We have just had our best grading day to date with almost all the students attending, we also gave out our student of the year award to one of our youngsters. We have 4 Instructors ready to teach your kids, and even a Female Instructor Luciana Oliveira from Rio De Janeiro. She is a superstar with our students and is extremely passionate about teaching the kids.
